For students aged 8 – 18

Private tuition is tailored to your child’s interests and experience. These are beneficial as a creative outlet or to compliment topics being covered in school. Younger students usually benefit from introductions to new materials and techniques, while oder students may require guidance in their HSC projects. Classes are a balance between demo’s, fun experiments, and theory.

DrawingTopics:
– Drawing techniques: Gestural, Contour, Volumetric, etc.
– Experiments with materials: Charcoal, Ink, Pencil, Chalk Pastel, etc.
– Drawing from image references
– Drawing from life

Painting Topics:
– Properties of various paints, brushes, surfaces
– The chemistry of oil and acrylic paint
– Experiments with various mediums (glazing, textures, oils, etc)
– Painting from a reference image vs. abstract techniques

2 Hours per lesson x 4 lessons

Cost: $100 for 1hr or $140 for 1.5hr lesson

About your tutor
Keroshin Govender is a practising Sydney based artist. He has had overSince graduating from COFA, UNSW in 2004 he has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in Sydney. Keroshin’s work balances traditional technique with more contemporary emotive concepts.
