4 Week Private Painting Course

Have you ever been curious about painting as a creative outlet, or are you already painting but want to ensure that you have some solid basic skills? This course is designed to not only give you a good technical grounding, but also includes some fun experiments with oil and/or acrylics.

Topics will include:
– Properties of various paints, brushes, surfaces
– The chemistry of oil and acrylic paint
– Experiments with various mediums (glazing, textures, oils, etc)
– Painting from a reference image vs. abstract techniques

2 Hours per lesson x 4 lessons

Cost: $410 total (All materials included)

Weekday / Weeknight / Weekend times available

About your tutor
Keroshin Govender is a practising Sydney based artist. Since graduating from COFA, UNSW in 2004 he has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in Sydney. Keroshin’s work balances traditional technique with more contemporary emotive concepts.
